06/20/2011: Debate on Europe: Germany’s Future is Cosmopolitan
As a prelude to the event series „Debate on Europe“, prominent representatives from politics, science, and culture will discuss Germany’s scarcity of immigrants, deficiencies in integration policies and possible collective European approaches. The panel discussion takes place on June 24th 2011 at 18:00 h in the Allianz Forum in Berlin. At the same time, it highlights the conclusion of this year’s Foundation Week in Berlin.

The “Let’s Talk about Europe” discussion series concludes on Sunday, April 27, 11am, in the Burgtheater with the topic “What Holds a Society Together?.” The final panel is composed of Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer, Italian InteriorMinister Giuliano Amato, British sociologist Anthony Giddens, and Harvard professor Jennifer Hochschild. It is moderated by Krzysztof Michalski, the Rector of the IWM.
