Europe as a real experience and not only as an object of scientific consideration. That is the main idea of the Allianz Summer Academy (ASA) which will take place in the Allianz Group Management Institute in Kempfenhausen at the Lake Starnberg from July 29 until August 02, 2009. Five days long the students will exchange their opinions and ideas on that issue in presentations and workshops.

With this event series the Allianz Cultural Foundation and its cooperation partners wish to contribute to the creation of a European public sphere in which vital topics concerning European unity can be debated. Among the speakers are Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Karel Schwarzenberg, Peer Steinbrück, Jean-Claude Juncker and many more.

The Center for Applied Policy Research (C·A·P) has launched a web dossier dealing with the elections on the European Parliament in 2009.
