The "Young Sound Forum of Central Europe" has sought to promote reconciliation and understanding like no other youth orchestra in Europe.

Academy for Contemporary Chamber Music in cooperation with Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland and the Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon.

"sonambiente berlin 2006 - festival for listening and seeing" is being organized under the motto "klang kunst sound art" by the Academy of Arts and the Berlin Festival from June 1 - July 16 in Berlin, at the same time as the FIFA World Cup 2006.

The summer workshop project "Jeunesse Moderne" wants to address young musicians from the countries concerned who are curious about new musical experiences in the contemporary chamber music.

Jeunesse Moderne is the first course of this kind, which offers lessons, workshops and concerts and which is solely concerned with contemporary music.

One of the highlights is the Chamber Music Festival at which several Allianz prize-winners will be performing.

The competition which takes place annually is held in various categories and addresses those studying at European music colleges and conservatories or young musicians who are at the beginning of their musical career.

The Festival focuses on supporting and presenting the cream of young musicians. Highly gifted musicians from all over Europe, who are at the beginning of their musical career, are invited to take part.

The aim of the workshop is - under the motto "Adventure New Music" - to guide young instrumentalists and composers to contemporary classical music and in an international dialogue become acquainted with the music structure of a neighbouring country.
